Perris Homes for Sale

Located in Riverside County, California, Perris is located north of San Diego. Prior to the late 1800s, Perris was used as farmland and pastures and wasn’t founded until the California Southern Railroad began running through a nearby depot. The cities name, “Perris” shows it’s history to honor Fred T. Perris who was the chief engineer of the California Southern Railroad, and thus helped found the town itself. Even today the town stays true to its roots and you can visit the Pinacate Station where the Orange Empire Railway Museum pays tribute to the railways.
