Temecula Schools

Temecula is a part of the Temecula Valley Unified School District, ranked as the highest Academic Performance in all of Riverside County. Local high schools have been awarded medals for the “Best High Schools,” by multiple news outlets. In addition to its award-winning public schools, Temecula also offers 9 private schools, 6 charter schools, as well as a community college, Mt. San Jacinto College. National University, University of Redlands, Concordia University, San Joaquin Valley College, as well as California State University San Marcos all have education centers within Temecula city limits. As a large golf community, Temecula also houses a vocational school for aspiring golfers, Professional Golfers Career College.

Wine Country - Best known for its Wine Country, while daily tastings are available, Temecula also hosts an annual Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival where you can enjoy wine tastings, live entertainment, vendors, and of course, hot air balloon rides. In addition, you can also enjoy a wide array of festivals such as the Temecula Valley International Jazz Festival, Temecula Street Painting Festival, Temecula Bluegrass Festival, Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival, Taste of Temecula Valley, and the Temecula Greek Festival.

Old Town - The historic district of Temecula is home to the Saturday farmers market as well as many historic buildings and dozens of local shops and boutiques. Aside from shopping, Old Town is also home to some of the town's parades, shows, and even houses the Temecula Valley Museum where you can explore the town's history.

Golf - Not only is there a vocational school for aspiring golfers, but there are many local golf courses for you to practice your swing. Celebrities are often spotted among one of the many golf courses and golf resorts.
