About Winchester California

Despite the town’s rural nature, since the early 2000s more housing developments, schools and parks have been built resulting in slow growth that is expected to continue. Schools

Winchester is primarily served by the Hemet Unified School district, however, some areas of Winchester are assigned to either Menifee Union Elementary School District, Perris Union High School District, or Temecula Valley Unified School District. Each of these districts meets the California state average on both the Star and CAHSEE tests.

With Winchester more recently seeing growth, most homes in Winchester have been built in the early 2000s and range in price from $350,000 - $650,000. Most homes in Winchester are part of subdivisions and have monthly HOA’s, however those fees range pending on the amenities that are provided.
